Reynold’s Brook Picnic Area and Wildlife Preserve 


Description: Cobscook Shores’ Reynold’s Brook – Orange River Wildlife Preserve is a 93-acre parcel with over a mile of frontage on Reynold’s Brook and Orange River. The site is open seasonally as a public canoe/kayak launch open in July and August. In September and October the launch site is used exclusively by the Cobscook Shores Outdoor Education Program which provides guided paddling excursions for local elementary schools.

Walking and Biking Trails: The Reynold’s Brook Trail is a 0.8 mile re-surfaced gravel road through northern hardwoods forest. This road ends at the Reynold’s Brook Paddle up picnic site. The Reynold’s Brook Trail is open year-round.

Paddle Launch: Cobscook Shores’ Reynold’s Brook Hand Carry Launch is open for public use in July and August.

Facilities: The Reynold’s Brook Hand Carry Launch offers two picnic tables and porta-potties open July through October.
