In the heart of the Washington County, on Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s Rocky Lake Preserve in Whiting, the Barker Cabin offers unparalleled peace and quiet.
Day use only boat launch with access to Rocky Lake, managed by Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
This boat ramp is at the end of the Pidgeon Point Road and is a public boat ramp maintained by the Town of Whiting. Overnight parking is prohibited at this time.
This reservable campsite at Rocky Lake Preserve in Whiting is accessed by water only and is available for groups up to 6 people.
This peninsula has a parking lot, a hand-carry boat access, an information kiosk, and an accessible picnic table overlooking the north end of Rocky Lake.
One of two campsites on the Orange River Flowage, available on a first come, first serve basis.
The Orange River Conservation Area provides boating access from either Reynolds Marsh Overlook or Orange River Landing.
This is the east access to the 0.3 mile Halls Mills Portage Trail.
This is the west access to the Halls Mills Portage Trail on Rocky Lake.
The small half an acre DSF parcel provides a day use area with easy access to Orange Lake.
A roughly 1-mile, round trip hiking trail, featuring views of Orange Lake with access from Rocky Lake Preserve or by boat on Orange Lake.
Orange River Hand Launch provides water access for canoes and kayaks.

The Reynolds Brook Picnic Area is open May through August. There is rest room.
